Raised in Virginia and married to a handsome man from Alabama,
I named Red Clay Paper after the soil of my home: that rich,
determined dirt that symbolizes my literal roots and the sense of place
I have back home. My grandpa was a sign painter in rural
North Carolina, and it's his kind of spirit that fuels my work:
